Author: ShaNisaa RaSun

The following problem is solved in this video. It is recommended that you try to solve the problem before watching the video. You can click "Answer" to reveal the answer to the problem.

Problem: Various values of \(f(x),\ g(x),\ f'(x),\) and \(g'(x)\) are given in the table below. Use the information in the table below to answer each of the following.

\(x\) \(f(x)\) \(g(x)\) \(f'(x)\) \(g'(x)\)
1 2 1 3 4
2 3 4 1 2
3 1 3 3 3
4 3 2 5 2

  1. If \(V(x)=e^{(f(x))^2},\) find \(V'(4).\)
  2. If \(C(x)=g(x^3-5),\) find \(C'(2).\)

  1. \(V'(4) = 30e^9\)
  2. \(C'(2)=36\)
